LOGIK Spring 2020 General Courses Programme

Dear Colleagues,

The LOGIK Centre has published our new Spring 2020 General Courses Programme.

We will be running a 10 week programme from week commencing Monday 3rd February to week commencing Monday 6th April 2020. The full programme fee is £50 for each course and places can be booked via the online store or by cash payment at the LOGIK Centre office immediately.

This term we can offer;

Mondays

Italian for Beginners with Patrizia – A ten week programme led by Patrizia Ronchetti Middleton – 12pm to 1pm

This course is aimed at people with no prior knowledge of Italian, who want to learn the basic language.

Italian for Improvers with Patrizia – A ten week programme led by Patrizia Ronchetti Middleton – 1pm to 2pm

This course is suitable for those who have a basic understanding of the Italian language, and want to improve their spoken and written skills.

Italian for Intermediates with Patrizia – A ten week programme led by Patrizia Ronchetti Middleton – 2pm to 3pm

This course is aimed at people who can speak and understand the Italian language reasonably well and can use basic tenses but have problems with more complex grammar and vocabulary.

Tuesdays

Meditation with Qigong with Gaynel – A ten week programme led by Gaynel Hamilton – 5.05pm to 6.05pm

Let your mind and body unwind with a well-earned hour of blissful tranquillity at the end of the working day. Featuring a mixture of seated silent meditation, deep relaxation to music and a few gentle mindful movements designed to relax, refresh and restore you.
Qigong (Chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese exercise and healing technique involving meditation, controlled breathing and movement exercises. Qigong practice typically involves moving meditation, coordinating slow flowing movement, deep rhythmic breathing, and calm meditative state of mind.

Wednesdays

Writing for All – A ten week programme led by Kate Bevan – 12pm to 1pm

Want to write but not sure where to start? These sessions will enable you to identify your topics of interest and to develop different ways that allow your words to truly speak and tell your story in whatever form you choose.
The emphasis throughout these sessions is on actual writing – whether you are starting out for the first time or returning to refresh your skills – take an hour for yourself to develop your own unique style.

Strictly Just Pencil for Beginners – A ten week programme led by Kate Bevan – 1pm to 2pm

For new starters these sessions will guide you through different applications of pencil-based materials and the basics of drawing and developing your skills. Take an hour for yourself each week to discover and learn different ways and approaches to drawing.
Please note that all sessions are classroom based and materials are provided.

Strictly Just Pencil for Improvers – A ten week programme led by Kate Bevan – 4pm to 5pm

For anyone wishing to refresh their skills; these sessions will guide you through different applications of pencil based materials and the more advanced techniques of drawing and developing your skills. An hour that gives you time to draw.
Please note that all sessions are classroom based and materials are provided.

Writing for All – A ten week programme led by Kate Bevan – 5.05pm to 6.05pm
